{Tuesday 10} Shoes

I'm linking up with Mom2MemphisAndRuby's Tuesday 10, and this weeks theme is shoes from co-host Absolute Mommy.

I'm not huge on shoes...I'm more comfort than style, but I do love stepping into my organized closet!





Here are my {10} steps to get your shoes organized:

1. Count your shoes {to order boxes}
2. Buy matching shoe boxes {I buy mine from Uline}
3. Find a space to take pictures of shoes {I just throw a white sheet on a chair for the background}
4. Take a picture of your shoe
5. Print out your shoe picture {I order online from Walgreens because it's the closest to our neighborhood}
6. Cut the shoe picture to fit on your box
7. Use double sided tape to stick picture on box
8. Organize your shoes by style or color
9. Place your shoes back in your closet
10. Do a happy dance, because your shoes are now organized and look pretty!

    I love the idea of shoe photos so they look pretty all the time,even when in the box.

      My mom did this when I was growing up, and I had to continue the organization ;)

      Oh so sweet, you remember to give me credit...although my closet shoe rack is a mess now. How did I keep myself and 4 children so organized then and now when almost all are out of the home I'm such a mess??!!
      Stay organized, it helps with learning styles for the kiddos in elementary school years.

    I love this!!! I actually do something similar with my hand bags, I put them in a plastic zip bag and use a pants hanger to hang them with a little tag that has the picture of the purse it contains.
