Happy {6 Months} Caleb!

Happy 6 Months to my little man, Caleb!

Poor Caleb scratched his eye on his 6 month birthday, and ruptured a blood vessel. It gave us a scare at first, but as a boy momma I better get use to bumps and bruises!

Do you see those fat large legs in the pic? His legs are bigger than my 4 year old niece's legs, and his legs don't fit in his bumbo chair! Ha! If he didn't look exactly like his daddy, people would question if we were his parents!

5 and 6 months have definitely been my favorite months so far. Caleb loves to laugh, play, jump in his jumper, and loves to sit up {he was never a fan of tummy time}.

We took Caleb to the doc today and his stats are in {drum roll, please}....

Weighed in at: 21.8 lbs
Measured at: 27.25 inches
95%, again. {I'm worried that he will be obese, but Doc assured me that Caleb is fine}
I was worried when I didn't produce enough breastmilk that I would have a sick, small baby because everyone says "breast is best", but MAN, this kid needs to be the spokesperson of Enfamil! Want a big, healthy, future athlete? Drink Enfamil! Ha!

Caleb rolls from back to front, and front to back, he scoots sideways, but is not "on the move" yet. He loves his dog, Ariel,...but Ariel still doesn't come near him {unless he's playing with a toy that makes noise}.
He can sit up on his own pretty good, but still falls over {he's just too big}.
He's tried just about every veggie, so now I need to give him fruits {I hope he'll still eat his veggies afterwards}.
He's "talking" a lot more, and is SO loud. He loves to make sounds like a roaring lion! I have to remind him to use "his inside voice". He loves to make noises with his tongue and his lips too.

His favorite person in the world is Aunt Gabby! I try so hard to make him laugh like she does, but he doesn't think anyone is as funny as Aunt G!
He's drinking 7oz of Enfamil AR {5 times a day}, and eats veggies with his milk at lunch and dinner.

He has slept every night for a WHOLE month! WOW! If I could give him a cookie, I would! It's amazing what sleep can do for a person {especially, a working momma!}!

We are enjoying every second with Caleb, and love him so much!!! Can you tell?

  1. Happy 6 months to Caleb. I agree with so many of your comments, Enfamil is as good as breast milk! And no, Caleb will not be obese because he will start playing sports as soon as he can balance himself standing up. GOD has answered our prayers and Caleb is very blessed to have parents, family that love him so much. And he is healthy. And YES, he looks like his Daddy, but handsomer because he has part of your looks too. I'm so glad we have this fancy technology and I can see my "little Giant" grow up, even when I'm not near him. Love you guys.
